I was a bit skeptical about the laminated IPS screen at first, but the clarity is incredible — colors pop without any glare. The audio mods make a noticeable difference, too; sound is much cleaner than my old unmodded GBA. Definitely a solid upgrade for any retro gamer.

The build-to-order process was worth the wait—the trigger response with the new capacitor is noticeably snappier than my original GBA. The laminated clear black shell looks fantastic and feels solid in the hands.

The laminated IPS screen is the star here—crisp, bright, and the clear black shell shows off the new capacitor work beautifully. Audio mods add a clean depth to chiptunes that I didn’t expect from a handheld this small. It arrived ready to play, and the build feels solid enough for daily pocket use.
