The stand is nice and sturdy, so the whole thing stays put when I'm poking the iron tip in. No water needed is a game changer for me—way less mess on my bench now.

Finally got this brass sponge for my soldering station, and the stand keeps it perfectly stable while I work. The waxy brass wool cleans the tip in just a couple of pokes without needing water.

Took me a bit to get used to the no-water approach, but the brass coil really does clean the tip efficiently without any sputtering. The stand keeps it stable on my bench and it's nice not having to deal with a wet sponge.
