The Gameboy Original IPS Power Regulator Pro - Robot_Retro provides optimal performance for IPS screens, but will not function with the stock screen. It boasts a low noise level for a better overall gaming experience.

  • To install, simply de-solder the original power regulator wires and solder them in the exact same order. The IPS Power Regular has the red wire location clearly marked (see install photo).

The screen on my old Gameboy is finally bright and stable with zero flicker after installing this regulator. It's noticeably quieter than the stock setup too, no buzzing sound in the background. Just know it won't work with the original screen, so make sure you're actually doing an IPS mod first.
