My old PS3 finally reads discs again after swapping in this lens, and the anti-static solder blob was clearly marked so I knew exactly what to remove before installing. Took me a bit longer than I'd like, but the console now loads games smoothly.

Installed this lens in about 20 minutes and my PS3 is reading games again like new. The anti-static solder blob was easy to spot and remove. For the price, this saved me from buying a whole new console.

My old PS3 finally stopped reading discs, and this replacement laser lens got it working like new again. I had to check for and remove the anti-static solder blob mentioned in the notes, but that was simple enough. Games load smoothly now, and it cost way less than buying a whole new console.
