The individual buttons have a satisfying click feel with the original membrane, making precise inputs in Smash Bros. much easier. They fit my GameCube controller perfectly and haven't budged during intense matches.

Installed these split d-pad buttons on my GC Ultimate last night and they click into place perfectly with the original membrane. No more accidental diagonals when I'm playing Smash.

Honestly wasn't sure how the four separate buttons would feel, but they click in place perfectly with the original rubber membrane. My thumb finds each direction without that mushy sliding feeling. Great swap for anyone who plays a lot of GameCube.
