These LEDs are extremely tiny. They come in a black plastic casing for protection. Remove black casing carefully.

Installed one in my GBA SP to replace the stock green light with a blue one, and it fits perfectly in the soldering spot. The brightness is just right for playing in a dimly lit room without being distracting. Nice little touch for a personal mod project.
