I was worried about doing the capacitor kit install myself, but the pre-soldered board made it simple. The black laminated shell feels very sturdy, and the IPS screen is incredibly crisp with no light bleed.

The laminated IPS screen is a night-and-day difference from the original — everything looks so much brighter and sharper. I was a bit worried about the build-to-order process, but the new capacitor kit and audio mods make it feel like a premium, freshly made console.

I was pleasantly surprised by how crisp and clear the Hispeedido V5 laminated IPS screen turned out—it makes my old GBA carts look like a completely new experience. The build process felt solid, and the black shell has a nice matte finish that doesn't show fingerprints.
